Autumn Winter 2027-28 Collection

Argentina Unfolded

Albiate 1830 continues its creative journey of exploration, arriving in Argentina: a country of extraordinary contrasts, where the vitality of the city meets the vastness of natural landscapes, and where cultures, colours and traditions coexist in a unique balance.

Argentina Unfolded takes shape through an Inspiration Map articulated in two complementary chapters: the city and nature. Two distinct worlds become textile matter through colours, textures and treatments that evoke places, atmospheres and sensations.

Buenos Aires

The first chapter looks to Buenos Aires and its layered charm. European-inspired architecture, wrought-iron balconies, historic cafés, colourful façades and the lived-in surfaces of its most iconic neighbourhoods become the starting point for a vibrant and dynamic collection.

Colour is the true protagonist. Checked flannels, jacquards, coloured denims and mouliné fabrics build a palette that alternates urban greys with vivid shades inspired by the city. Bleach effects and special treatments create nuances and chromatic depth, while pleats, crinkled effects, prints on denim, velvets and distinctive constructions introduce movement and three-dimensionality. It is a collection that captures the rhythm of urban life through constantly evolving surfaces.

Patagonia

From the dynamism of the city, the journey moves to the boundless dimension of Patagonia. Wind, mountains, glaciers and immense lakes inspire a more tactile and enveloping proposal, shaped by the authenticity and primordial strength of the landscape.

Robust flannels, characterful checks and wool blends interpret the landscape through irregular textures and full-bodied hands. Bouclé, tartans and special constructions interact with a palette of deep, natural tones. Particular emphasis is placed on double-face fabrics, developed in different weights and often defined by the encounter between different materials, such as cotton and wool. Effects inspired by Casentino cloth, rustic structures, nubby surfaces and unexpected contrasts between Prince of Wales checks and camouflage motifs evoke a powerful and wild nature, translated into the contemporary language of Albiate 1830.

With Argentina Unfolded, Albiate 1830 confirms its vocation for transforming cultural and landscape inspirations into highly creative fabrics, where research, experimentation and the spirit of travel come together in an authentic and distinctive proposal.
