S/S 2022: discover the themes, colours and video of our new collection

The Albiate 1830 Spring/Summer 2022 collection tells the story of a poetic and imaginary journey, which from Japan passes through Hawaii and reaches us, full of new inspirations.

This season, the brand’s streetwear style is dressed in a new elegance, combining a rustic and vintage soul with a refined imprint.

Sustainable raw materials, such as organic and recycled cotton, are confirmed as symbols of the brand’s eco-friendly spirit. The chromatic palette mixes colonial colours, reinterpreted through pastel shades, with burnt ones, without forgetting denim blue.

The themes of the collection convey three suggestions with well-defined distinctive features.

Denim Roots

For this collection we have decided to go back to the origins of denim, handcrafting a selvedge denim, reminiscent of the Japanese one in refinement and rusticity. This is accompanied by a versatile range of denim fabrics, among which those with a sustainable soul, made with natural, organic and recycled fibers, stand out.

Hawaii Street Art

An explosion of colours and vitality that leads us into a magical atmosphere. Hawaiian prints take on a new urban taste and are tinged with bright colours, recalling graffiti and street art. The result is a hybrid style that combines exotic suggestions with an evident streetwear character.

The inspiration for this mood comes from nature and the rediscovery of uncontaminated landscapes. Hence the choice of natural raw materials, such as cotton, hemp and slubbed linen. Even colours, such as khaki, sand and beige, recall the elements of nature.

A dreamlike and research journey that allowed us to explore new atmospheres and experiment with new combinations, in an independent and original way. Perfectly in line with the DNA of Albiate 1830.
